More often custody transfer metering systems don't end at Flow Computer level. For the more demanding customers ODS offers HMI/Supervisory systems (Human Machine Interface) for advanced metering solutions. The applications may vary from relative small facilities to large, redundant custody transfer metering systems as well as client/server metering systems with a high degree of connectivity to SCADA, DCS LIPS and other automated plant operating systems.
ODS offers a standard HMI/supervisory platform which easily can be adjusted to the specific needs and wishes of our clients. In our standard HMI/supervisory solution you will find a rich library with thermodynamic property and flow calculations based on standards from international organisations as ISO and AGA.
Advanced calculation methods, such as saturated gas flash calculations or accurate calculations of the velocity of sound (VOS or Speed of Sound)) of a natural gas are available as well. Furthermore additional validation and calibration functionality can be added to ensure a flawless and accurate operation of a metering system.
All other typical features that you may expect from a Supervisory/HMI are also included in our system such as:
- Alarm management;
- Performance monitoring;
- Historical trending;
- Report generation;
- Etc.
Accessibility via a web server throughout HTML pages or an open secured live data connection belongs also to the possibilities.
Beside our own standard HMI/Supervisory solution we also offer the flexibility to develop and integrate the metering HMI into the clients preferred software platform.
