Onshore
The onshore Industries have strict demands regarding metering systems and instrumentation. In some cases oil or gasses are untreated and in multi phase state.
ODS offers metering systems projects such as for crude oil, refined hydrocarbon liquids, natural gas. Many metering systems are delivered including Injection systems for corrosion inhibitors & other additives, Analysers to measure the composition of gas and/or oil, Sampling systems.
ODS provides the correct certification with our metering systems such as: NMi, PTB, DTI, ANP, DPR.
Offshore:
The Offshore industry can have even stricter demands then the onshore industry. This is due to:
- The remote location of exploration platforms and FPSO's etc.;
- The harsh environment: warm, humid ad a high salinity, Ex;
- The products to measure are untreated and in multi phase state. The composition and viscosity varies, depending on well type, age and geographic location. Aggressive components and sediments require special techniques and materials;
Special care needs to be taken regarding:
- Shipping, Transportation, documents;
- Unattended operation; Remote communication
- Certification (if applicable): NMi, PTB, DTI, ANP, DPR;
- Material specifications: Protection of the materials of the installation such as coating;
- Design; dimensions, compact size of the installation;
